Privacy notice

WordRush collects the minimum needed to run your account and reply to enquiries.

What we collect

For adult accounts: a name, email address, a securely hashed password, the type of account, your curriculum choice, your classes and groups, and your own game progress. For enquiries, the contact form and the AI journey check: the details you enter, and your answers to the check.

How it's used

Game data is used to save your progress so you can pick up where you left off. There are no public leaderboards. Enquiry and AI check details are used to reply to you and send your results when email delivery is available, and we may follow up once about next steps. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.

Children

Children don't create accounts. They join a class or group through a link shared by a teacher, parent or tutor, and enter only a first name (or the name the adult added). We store that name and their gameplay: which games they opened, levels finished, stars and time played. We never ask children for an email, password, photo or location, and we don't show ads or sell data.

Only the adult who created the class or group can see that data. They can rename or remove a child, or delete the whole class, at any time, and it's deleted straight away. Schools should use WordRush in line with their own privacy policies and, where required, parental consent processes.

Adults

Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all progress at any time from your account page. To remove enquiry or AI check data, send a request through the contact form.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep adults signed in, and one to remember which child is playing on a device. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Website analytics

When enabled on the published website, Replit analytics counts visits, pages viewed and aggregate actions such as starting a game or sending an enquiry. We do not send names, email addresses, messages or children's game results to Replit analytics. It does not set tracking cookies.

WordRush also counts anonymous page views and sign-up steps to understand which pages lead to registrations. We store only the type of action, a broad page label, a broad referral source and the time. Your browser remembers that source locally so later sign-up steps can be counted together; we do not store an identity, IP address or message in these website-traffic reports.

We also use first-party, aggregate sign-up reporting to understand which public pages and referring sites lead to account registrations and enquiries. It does not collect IP addresses or personal details. A source label (such as a campaign tag or referring website name) is stored in your browser's local storage to connect a visit with a later sign-up; it is not used on child play routes.
