Privacy notice

WordRush collects the minimum needed to run your account and reply to enquiries.

What we collect

For adult accounts: a name, email address, a securely hashed password, the type of account, your curriculum choice, your classes and groups, and your own game progress. For enquiries, the contact form and the AI journey check: the details you enter, and your answers to the check.

How it's used

Game data is used to save your progress so you can pick up where you left off. There are no public leaderboards. Enquiry and AI check details are used to reply to you and send your results, and we may follow up once about next steps. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers.

Children

Children don't create accounts. They join a class or group through a link shared by a teacher, parent or tutor, and enter only a first name (or the name the adult added). We store that name and their gameplay: which games they opened, levels finished, stars and time played. We never ask children for an email, password, photo or location, and we don't show ads or sell data.

Only the adult who created the class or group can see that data. They can rename or remove a child, or delete the whole class, at any time, and it's deleted straight away. Schools should use WordRush in line with their own privacy policies and, where required, parental consent processes.

Adults

Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all progress at any time from your account page. To remove enquiry or AI check data, send a request through the contact form.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep adults signed in, and one to remember which child is playing on a device. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Website analytics

When enabled on the published website, we use Replit's website analytics to count visits, pages viewed and aggregate actions such as starting a game or sending an enquiry. We do not send names, email addresses, messages or children's game results to website analytics. It does not set tracking cookies.
